Living on Earth Is Tough to Them Who are Born in the Abyss

This drawing is inspired by a poem I wrote and a folding screen which is a traditional item in Asian culture. The poem is a story of a person who was born in the abyss but lives on earth. The screen is used to stop cold wind from blowing into a room. It typically consists of a series of vertical images aligned next to each other which often has poems written on them. The form is appropriated in my own version.
